Our Story
I'm Hillel, born and raised in New York City. I immigrated to Germany over eight years ago and have been calling Hamburg home for several years. As a friendly host, professional barista, and tea sommelier, I bring a deep appreciation for classic New York deli food to Northern Germany.
Since 2019, I've been running Lowinsky's NY Coffee & Tea in Hamburg's Eppendorf neighborhood – a space where my old home meets my new one. Here, American hospitality, German precision, and Japanese tea culture come together.
