Standard Matcha — Miyazaki, Kyushu
Most matcha at this price point tastes fishy and bitter — usually because it's a blend, often summer-harvested rather than spring.
Ours isn't. An affordable, everyday matcha that's still single-origin and spring-harvest. Full-bodied, rich, closer to chocolate mousse than to the grassy bitterness people associate with cheap matcha.
For a thick tea (koicha): Warm your bowl with hot water. Sift 2.5–3g of matcha, add 30g of water at 70°C, and whisk until creamy and foamy.
I prefer mine on the thicker side. When matcha tastes this good, the umami coats your mouth and the aroma lingers for hours.
